Brief

Remodel an Ensuite, Bathroom, Powder Room and Laundry in 4 weeks while the client was overseas.

What

The renovation work encompassed several significant improvements, transforming both its aesthetics and functionality. The first major upgrade involved fully tiling all walls and floors, including replacing the existing acrylic shower bases with beautifully tiled shower bases, giving the spaces a more modern and luxurious feel. New off-the-floor vanities with stone benchtops were installed and custom shaving cabinet joinery added to maximise and provide face-level storage.

To add a touch of opulence and create a spa-like experience, a feature freestanding bath was introduced to replace the existing built-in tub. This addition became a focal point in the bathroom, exuding a sense of relaxation and comfort. The renovation also encompassed upgrading all plumbing, electrical and lighting fixtures throughout, including heated towel rails and magnifying LED mirror.

Another essential aspect of the renovation involved upgrading the windows in both the Powder Room and Ensuite. The previously obscured glass was replaced with new clear glass windows, allowing more natural light to flood the spaces and providing better views of the surrounding landscape. To improve the privacy and light control, the dated venetian blinds were replaced with stylish louvre shutters, adding a touch of sophistication and versatility to the windows' aesthetics.

Lastly, the laundry received a complete makeover, with the addition of a new wall of tall custom joinery, including an integrated fridge/freezer, a vented drying cupboard with hanging rails and pull-out clothes hampers for easy and organised laundry management.

The renovation of all spaces were successfully completed within the tight deadline in order to surprise the clients on their return from holiday with all newly renovated wet areas for them to enjoy.
